Data Deletion Request

We respect your right to control your personal data. If you wish to delete your HerdTrackr account and all associated data, you can do so using any of the methods below.

⚠️ Important: This Action is Permanent

Deleting your account will permanently remove:

  • Your account and login credentials
  • All livestock records (animals, health records, weight data, breeding records)
  • All photos and attachments
  • Pasture and movement data
  • Treatment protocols and reports
  • Team member associations
  • All other data associated with your account

This action cannot be undone. We recommend exporting your data before requesting deletion.

How to Delete Your Data

Option 1: Delete From Within the App (Recommended)

✅ Fastest Method

You can delete your account directly from the HerdTrackr app:

  1. Open the HerdTrackr app
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Scroll down to Account Management
  4. Tap Delete Account
  5. Confirm your decision

Processing time: Immediate. Your account will be deleted instantly.

Option 2: Email Request

Verification Process

For security reasons, we may need to verify your identity before processing deletion requests submitted via email or phone. We'll contact you using the email address or phone number associated with your account.

Export Your Data

We recommend exporting your livestock data before deletion:

  1. Open the HerdTrackr app
  2. Go to Reports
  3. Tap Export All Data
  4. Choose format: PDF or CSV
  5. Save to your device or email to yourself

Cancel Subscription

If you have an active subscription, please cancel it before deleting your account:

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription.

Alternative Options

If you're experiencing issues or have concerns, consider these alternatives before deleting:

Temporarily Deactivate

You can log out and stop using the app without deleting your data. Your data will remain secure and you can return anytime.
