6. Camera and Location Permissions

6.1 Camera Access

We request camera permission for:

• AI-powered OCR scanning of ear tags
• Taking photos of livestock for records

Camera access is only used when you actively use these features. Images are stored locally on your device and optionally synced to your cloud account. We do not access your camera without your explicit action.

6.2 Location Access

We request location permission for:

• GPS-tagging pasture locations and animal movements
• Tracking livestock location history
• Compliance and audit trail purposes

Location tracking only occurs when you use location-based features. You can disable location access in your device settings at any time.

7. Children's Privacy

HerdTrackr is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover that a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.
